Sales Representative - New England

Location

Based out of/live in Massachusetts

Basic Summary

Our products are distributed worldwide by sales and marketing professionals recognized throughout the industry for their clinical expertise and outstanding customer service.

Beaver-Visitec International is currently seeking a Sales Representative for the New England Territory to help create and promote innovative, new microsurgical products for ophthalmic surgery. Based out of/live in within the Rte 95 belt - Greater Boston area of Massachusetts and covering all the New England states, the Sales Representative will be responsible for the sales and promotion of ophthalmic disposable knives, instruments, kits, and other supplies to hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining and growing annual sales volume in assigned territory.

Requirements

We require a BS or BA degree in Business and/or related discipline, 2 or more years selling medical devices in the operating room market to hospitals, surgery centers, and doctor's offices. Candidates for this position should have a demonstrated track record of success and an aptitude to learn and apply new clinical knowledge. Strong interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to foster and develop strong relationships is a must. All Candidates for this position must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and must be able to read and write English.

Travel up to 50%. Ability to drive a car; use a lap top while sitting; use telephone and other hand-held devices; stand or walk for at least 4 hours at a time; presentations; written/oral communication in English; lift up to 70 lbs. Travel by plane, observe surgery in the Operating Room or Surgery Center.

Sr. Global Product Manager

Basic Summary

The Sr. Global Product Manager will be responsible for maintaining a 3-year strategic plan for their portfolio. This will include ongoing market assessments, competitive landscape analyses, identification of opportunities and threats, as well as identification of new sources of growth. In addition, this individual will be responsible for identifying new sourced products and/or innovation to drive top-line growth. The Sr. Global Product Manager will be responsible for the new product innovation pipeline as well as non-product and business model innovation. He/she will be responsible for identifying customer insights on current and future unmet needs, and translating those insights into a framework for the development and launch of new products and services. This individual must be able to effectively partner cross functionally to drive the development and/or acquisition of products, services and technologies to meet those needs.

They will support the global sales and downstream marketing organizations through the development of advertising, sales and promotional tools, KOL management programs, and clinical education support materials. This individual must be able to effectively partner with local sales and marketing, as well as other key functions to help achieve annual sales and profitability targets. He/she will develop product sales forecasts for new products in conjunction with operations/production planning. This individual will be responsible for market analysis, identification of opportunities, goal setting and driving of best practices amongst regions.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree (MBA preferred) and 7+ years of marketing experience in medical devices is required. Experience in upstream marketing is required. Experience in ophthalmology and/or surgical products i required. Experience with new product development is required. The ability to build strong productive relationships within a cross-functional team is required. Proven expertise in developing sales and marketing initiatives directed at health care professionals is required. Experience with portfolio management, and product life cycle management is required. The ability to think analytically with an entrepreneurial approach to drive business results is required. Global marketing experience is a plus. This position requires up to 30% domestic and international travel and will be based in Waltham, MA.

Regional Sales Leader - Central Region

Regional Sales Leader - Central Region, Reporting to the VP of Sales, the sales leader is responsible for attaining the sales and profitable goals in line with US regional objectives. The sales goals are direct sales and rebated dealer sales in territory. This includes management of all sales activities/processes, implementation of sales programs within the company's strategic plan including but not restricted to recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and management of sales consultants within the region, as well as management of assigned special accounts (PL/SPM/HPG/Kaiser). The Sales Leader may also manage national accounts including distributors and GPO’s.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in related discipline, (MBA preferred) 3+ years of sales management experience in a medical devices; (Ophthalmic experience preferred). National account experience, Travel up to 50%.

Sales Representative - Nashville, TN

Location

Nashville, TN

Basic Summary

Based in Nashville, TN, the Sales Representative will be responsible for managing a sales territory and promoting and selling BVI's Ophthalmic, disposable knives, instruments, kits, and other supplies. Target call points will be to hospitals, OPERATING ROOMS and ambulatory surgery centers. Incumbent will also be responsible for generating leads for capital equipment sales and support sales of capital equipment. The Surgical Sales Representative will maintain knowledge of a diverse portfolio of BVI products and support sales efforts of same. Incumbent is responsible for administrative reporting such as account profiles and analysis (including CRM) population) daily/monthly/quarterly/annual planning, provision of competitive intelligence maintaining an up-to-date list of inventory, expense reporting, etc. The Surgical Sales Representative must maintain and utilize an effective supply of marketing collateral to support their territory.

Requirements

We require a BS or BA degree in Business and/or related medical field, as well as 1-3 years sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry. Ophthalmic experience and operating room sales are a plus. Require the ability to work independently in cooperation with the sales force. A good understanding of how to work with distributor reps, GPO/GPO Pricing and OEM customers is essential, as well as understanding customer needs, product attributes, revenue generation, and profit & loss analysis. The Sales Representative will be skilled at making presentations, as well as having demonstrated team selling skills. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Customer Service Representative (Temp to Regular)

Basic Summary

We are currently seeking a full-time temp-to-regular Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join the U.S. Customer Service team.

The Customer Service Representative CSR will answer incoming calls from the customer service queue in a timely manner and will provide the highest level of customer satisfaction possible to both internal and external customers. The CSR will be capable of processing RMAs in an expeditious and accurate manner, and will process customer orders (phone, fax and mail), special orders, drop ship orders and customer changes according to established department policies and procedures in a timely and accurate fashion. The CSR will use an ERP system to provide prompt and efficient information to customers, call customers when necessary, and guide customers to other internal resources as necessary. Document and resolve customer problems, complaints and issues promptly in a positive, win-win manner that will retain and promote customer loyalty in accordance with company processes. Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems. The CSR will take initiative and personal ownership for meeting established individual and team metrics, and will meet or exceed monitoring standards on phones.

Requirements

Associate's degree and 2+ years of proven customer service experience. Bachelor's degree and related (medical device) experience highly preferred. Knowledge of customer service standards, procedures, principles and practices is desirable. Demonstrated commitment to provide superior customer service must be evident. Excellent PC/system skills, with the ability to learn software programs like Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook and other databases (ERP Systems, ACT). The CSR should possess strong data entry skills including accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail, plus effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable interacting with customers and internal partners in a professional manner via the phone. Previous knowledge of the ophthalmic or medical device industry is a plus.
